Justin Bieber was actually supposed to be a guest at the big club founded by Usher for his Super Bowl halftime performance. The R&B singer himself broke the news a week later on an episode of The Breakfast Clubto clarify a rumor that had been circulating in recent days.
“We couldn't organize with Justin,” he said, “he's a brother to me, but I think that at this moment he wants to tell a different story.” And I get it. And again: “We had a short conversation. We will definitely do something together in the future. I wasn’t disappointed: you have to endure a lot of pressure to play in the Super Bowl.”
Lil Jon, who performed alongside Usher during the Las Vegas show, also shared a sentiment: “There are a lot of trials, a lot of responsibilities and a lot of eyes on you.” I'm not sure he's ready for all of that was. He adds: “But they're good friends and Justin was definitely rooting for him.”
